Our Aims

The Aims of our childcare centre are:

To create and maintain a loving and safe environment for the children in our care.
To treat children as individuals and supply a range of activities to encourage their development and enable them to attain their full potential.
To deliver curricula and operate management systems designed to create the highest standards of childcare and early years education. We ensure that no area of a child’s development is neglected. Within an orderly environment, an extensive range of materials is provided in the context of imaginative and creative programmes designed to stimulate each child’s emotional, social, physical and intellectual growth.
To employ staff of the highest quality and establish training programmes to enable them to provide the loving and professional care which parents have the right to expect for their children.
To establish accommodating hours – we realise that many parents have commitments that do not coincide with the conventional school day and terms. Major Minors is, therefore, open for an extended day (7:00 am to 7:00 pm) throughout 52 weeks of the year. We close only on Bank Holidays and weekends. Parents may enrol their children full-time or part-time.
