In early 2011 we acquired a wonderful property in the centre of Camberley (adjacent to the railway station) and converted it into an idyllic day nursery, creating a collection of large rooms in a traditional residential building which provide a very warm nurturing environment for your child.
There is an indoor "Jungle Room" for our junior explorers, used for a variety of creative learning experiences. For the younger children there is a wide range of sensory resources using natural materials wherever possible. Our large garden gives the children access to a variety of learning and play experiences outdoors in the fresh air.
The philosophy behind our approach to care is based around Maria Montessori's approach recognising the inherent goodness in every child, providing a loving and nurturing environment for them, using a positive approach to managing their behaviour and helping them learn.
The nursery offers a full day care and early education service from 7:30am to 6:30pm 52 weeks of the year. For the youngest children there will be an attended door service with parents and children welcomed individually so the daily needs of the individual child can be communicated and understood in detail. The entrance for the older children will involve a coded "fob" entry system enabling parents and children to access the nursery independently. We value working in partnership with parents who are welcome to visit the nursery at any time. The nursery has Closed Circuit Television in all the key childcare rooms, entrance halls, garden and car park. This enables the Nursery Manager to observe childcare practice and provide for training purposes. It is also reassuring for new parents to see their children settling into nursery without being in the room.
