Ofsted is the non-ministerial government inspectorate for children and learners accountable to Parliament. Through a comprehensive system of inspection and regulation Ofsted contributes to ensuring minimum standards are met and every setting is encouraged to develop the quality of their childcare service.

Ofsted has an immense brief and focuses resources on settings where the most support is needed. Their approach to inspection continues to develop with a growing emphasis on Self Evaluation and continual improvement. This is very much in line with our approach which combines formal quality assurance with reflective practice and parental involvement.

As a result of the professionalism and commitment of the nursery teams we are pleased that Ofsted inspections have recognised the overall quality of our approach with almost exclusively “Good” and “Outstanding” grades.
