Caring Daycare, Winner 2010
The Toast of Surrey Business Awards started in 2009 and have been created to recognise the innovation, growth, quality, success and social responsibility of businesses based in Surrey.
There are a number of categories from Start Ups, to Businesses with a Turnover in excess of £20m. There is a broad range of sponsors including The Surrey Advertiser, Guildford Borough Council, HSBC, Smith & Williamson, Eagle Radio, and Surrey Research Park, amongst others.
Guildford MP Anne Milton said "It is terribly important for us to celebrate the success of business in Surrey. We have got some very good businesses but we don’t always take the time out to pat ourselves on the back and say well done"
Caring Daycare were short listed as a finalist in 2009 and then in 2010 were winners of the "Up to £10m Turnover" companies category.
The Judge’s comment was "This is a business that was able to demonstrate a real commitment to excellence across all areas from social responsibility through solid financials, effective management and pro-active employee development policies."
We are pleased that this recognises the tremendous contribution by everyone in each of our nurseries to deliver the very best care and education for every child.
